FOUNDER'S MESSAGE
A Commitment That Extends Beyond the Classroom.
Throughout my career, I have believed that undercover operations are among the most challenging and demanding assignments in law enforcement. They require sound judgment, adaptability, emotional resilience, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Those qualities cannot be developed through policy manuals alone—they must be learned through realistic training, practical experience, and mentorship.
That belief is why I created CMG Consulting.
Undercover operations often receive limited resources and recognition, which can result in fewer opportunities for meaningful training. Yet the consequences of being unprepared can be significant. I have seen firsthand the complexity of undercover work and understand that the right preparation can make the difference between mission success and mission failure—or, in some cases, between going home safely and not.
From the beginning, my goal has been simple: build the kind of training I would want every undercover professional to receive. Every scenario, every exercise, and every discussion is designed to prepare students for the realities they may one day face.
I also believe people should understand what they are capable of before they find themselves in a critical situation. Training should challenge participants mentally, physically, and emotionally so they discover their strengths, recognize their limitations, and build the confidence to make sound decisions when events unfold at an overwhelming pace. When that moment comes, training and experience become the foundation they can rely upon.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching that transformation. Students often arrive uncertain and cautious. Just a few days later, they are thinking differently, solving problems creatively, and sometimes teaching me new perspectives. Seeing that growth reminds me why I continue to teach.
At CMG Consulting, our commitment does not end when the course concludes. We believe the relationships built during training should continue throughout a professional career. Whether it is answering a question, discussing an operational challenge, or simply serving as a trusted sound board, our instructors remain available because we genuinely care about the people we train and the organizations they serve.
When someone trains with CMG, they are not simply attending another course. They become part of a professional community built on trust, mentorship, and a shared commitment to operational excellence. That commitment is, and always will be, the foundation of CMG Consulting.
